The Lafayette Regional Association of Realtors® (LRAOR) is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the interests of buyers and sellers in all their real estate transactions and to enabling Realtors’ success in their professional endeavors.It provides support, certification, and guidance to over 500 member Realtors and serves as a trusted advisor for individuals, investors, developers, and management companies transacting in real estate.

Founded in 1916, LRAOR has been a cornerstone of the community for nearly a century. LRAOR and its leadership team are active in advocacy, philanthropy, and local affairs. LRAOR enjoys a relationship of respect and trust with the local, state, and federal elected officials and community organizers and is often asked to provide input and advice on matters relating to the real estate industry.

It also supports the National Association of Realtors’ mission of advocating for policy initiatives that promote and protect a fundamentally sound and dynamic U.S. real estate market, to foster vibrant communities in which to live and work.

LRAOR’s member Realtors share these deep community roots and civic connections, with many committed to volunteering and charitable works outside in addition to their real estate practices. They are required to observe and uphold a strict code of ethics and adhere to the highest level of professional standards.

The mission statement of the Lafayette Regional Association of Realtors is to enhance members’ ability to conduct business successfully, to elevate the professional standards of the members and to promote and protect the individual’s right to own, transfer and use of real property.
